Journey Encounters:
These foreign classes are conducted in various locations throughout the world. These trips are planned for the TRUE ADVENTURERS- ones willing to explore unfamiliar customs and cultures. As an artist, we must always be the participant and not the tourist. During the daily explorations, the students concentrate on drawing full sheet compositions and not the painting aspect. This greater concentration on sketching will allow the participant to finish three to four compositions daily and still leave ample time to be the true participant.
 

WaterMedia Encounters:
These classes are through the Division of Continuing Education at Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, Louisiana. The classes vary in length from weekend sessions, five day sessions, and the two week sessions where the most growth is achieved.

In each of the different Encounters you will be solving problems, exploring and expanding your individual creative processes to do work that is original and imaginative- not trite and mundane. The goal of these programs is to expose you, as an individual, to the beauty of creativity - your own - through lecture, demonstrations, critiques and individual instruction. These are not HOW TO technique workshops, but THINKING DESIGN ENCOUNTERS where you will experience GROWTH by changing your concepts.

Workshop Encounters:
These classes are conducted in various locations in the United States and Canada. These classes are organized by different organizations, groups, and/or individuals. All registrations are handled by them. Please refer to the CALENDAR section for specific contact information. The classes vary in length to meet the requirements of the sponsoring group.
